WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT

Cuckoo clocks are a worldwide known trademark from the Black Forest. Not far from the German Clock Museum, the student project

‘Keep the Clock Going’

was created at Furtwangen University – under the supervision of Daniel Hepperle and Andreas Sieß.

Tradition and digital modernity are combined in the interactive installation by making use of the technology of projection mapping and gesture control.
Full physical effort is required to lure the cuckoo out of his clock house. The clock is used as a projection surface and screen for the game.

Visually, the modern retro look refers to the cyberpunk style of the 1980s.
The buttons sticked to the floor function as a control interface. The player‘s inputs are registered with the stereo infrared camera Kinect and transferred into the game.

Welcome to our interactive experience!
